Children's Favor at Christening

We're having about 8 children 3-10 years old and 9 babies at my DD's christening next month.

We are having a candy buffet for the adults and kids as favors. I would like to do something in addition fore the kids and want to get your opinion on which is better..

entertainer for face painting , ballons etc for an hour?

get actiovities like cpoloring books, ceramic mugs that can be colored , etc for kids to play with while there

or

favor bag to take home?

I think the candy buffet is plent of a favor for both kids and adults. I would get cute bags for them to put the stuff in to take home.

I think face painting or balloon making would be fun for the kids. Can't go wrong with either of those
