childcare question
FM me if you feel this is too personal to post but how much do you pay a day for childcare? Is it in a home or center? How many other children are there?
When I go back to work in sept my mom will watch bella for 2 days, my MIL 1 day and a friend of mine will watch her for the other 2 days. What should I pay her? She is a SAHM who's youngest is going into kinder next year. She will have my DD alone.
I don't know what would be considered fair!

Years ago when my son was little, my friend watched him for me - I paid her $25 a day, then after a few months I went up to $30 a day.

I just meet a sitter we might use for 2 days a week that is in her home with other kids, and she charges $6 an hour. But she feeds them lunch and snacks and provides diapers and wipes. Anywhere from $5-$8 an hour is normal for a sitter.

Mine is an in home daycare and she charges $30 to $35 a day I think there are likr 15 kids but she doesn't do it all by herself there are 2 other people that work there as well.

I used a woman for a year and she charged $30/day.
