Child Tux rental... or buying a suit
DS is 5 and will be in a wedding. All the groomsman are wearing Navy suits. Should I buy DS a navy suit or see if i can rent a navy tux (does that even exist?)
Where is a good place to go? Im in nassau.

I bought my sons online. I think I got from Macys at the time. The cost to rent was about the same.
If you cant find anything online, I am sure any tux rental place would provide little boys sizes.

You can definitely rent navy tuxes. My BIL had them for his wedding. They were expensive at $275 for the rental for us guys. Originally the bride wanted the kids in those tuxes too... however they were $275 as a rental as well. The black ones were $100 for the kids rental. Still expensive.
Moral of the story, buy a suit, it should be cheaper.

I bought my sons on Amazon, it was inexpensive, for something that I knew he would be wearing once, it was fine.

I'd check Amazon, maybe Century 21 or Burlington. They always surprise me with their kid's dress up clothes.

I needed a Navy suit for my son for a November wedding. We bought this one and we love it!
Navy suit
I've also rented and the suit for my toddler was horrible!

I bought my son a suit from The Colony Shop in Patchogue when he was a ring bearer - including shoes I believe it was about $100

When I got married I had my SIL get her son a tux on amazon. It was like $30. I refused to have her pay a fortune for something her 3 year old would wear for an hour.
