chicken pox vacine and fever
DD is 1 year. Had the chicken pox vaccine on Friday and had a fever of 103. 104 Sat, 103 Sund. 102/3 tday. She has had a runny nose for 2 weeks.
Poor appetite but drinking well. Friday night she whimpered in her sleep. Tylenol lowers fever.
Should I take her to dr. tomorrow if fever persists and do you think it is a virus or related to vaccine? thank goodness I requested to postpone the MMR.
She only had fevers with her first two vacinations

A live vaccine takes time to build up in the system and cause a fever. Usually 7-10 days.
This seems a bit soon. It could be unrelated and something else.
I'd call the ped tomorrow.
