Re: Chicken Nugget Suggestion....
My DD has always liked the Purdue ones and they seem to be better quality then a lot of the others so that is what we have always given to her.
She has always been very picky and these were the only ones that she would eat. Recently she started eating baked chicken fingers that I make myself. I coat with egg, and dip in a mixture of bread crumbs and parmasean cheese, then bake on a cookie sheet lined with parchement paper and sprayed with Pam. So I will make these for everyone for dinner and double the batch so I have some "real" chicken fingers in the freezer for her that I can just reheat.
But to be honest I only do this once every few weeks and she eats nuggets several times a week so most of the time it's Purdue for us!

Re: Chicken Nugget Suggestion....
We like Ian's Organic nuggets from Stop & Shop or Whole Foods. They aren't made from rib meat (like Perdue) and are all natural/egg free.

I just bought these but haven't tried them yet. The first ingredient is whole white meat chicken...so I thought we would give them a try. I really need these for nights I am desperate cause I'm not cooking or know DD won't eat what I have.

Re: Chicken Nugget Suggestion....
Right now she's into the Dino from Tyson. Generally we used to get the Mickey Mouse from Costco but man oh man they stink (in my opinion).
Meh.
Even if it isn't 100% healthy, the sides are (grapes, yogurt or apples) so I can live with it.
I WON'T make them

Re: Chicken Nugget Suggestion....
When I make chicken for DH & myself I just make my own using organic chicken.
For the most part I buy Applegate Organic Chicken nuggets.
After seeing a documentary about Perdue & Tyson chicken farms I will NEVER buy their products again.

Me too. They are actually chicken, when you bite them the inside is obviously white meat chicken, I can't bring myself to serve anything that doesn't resemble what it's supposed to be.
BTW what IS rib meat? Ive always been extremely turned off by that term. Is it dark meat?

Re: Chicken Nugget Suggestion....
trader joe's chicken tenders (in their frozen section) are excellent! they aren't nuggets per say, but you could cut them. DD usually eats 1 or 2 of these in a setting.
