Cherry eye?
We think our little lily girl may have cherry eye :( she doesn't seem to be in pain, but her inner eyelid is swollen-but not red. It also could be from playing with her sister, bc they play very roughly.
Any experiences? I hate making her go through surgery, and read that sometimes massaging the gland back into place can work.
eta:
she also had her 2nd round of shots yesterday...

Re: Cherry eye?
I'm no help here...yet. Hwever, my shih-tzu on Saturday woke up with a tiny ball in the corner of his eye. I'm thinking pink eye or cyst. I'm going to call the vet today and take it from there.

Re: Cherry eye?
Dh actually did some research online, and found that sometimes it could be popped back in by massaging the eyelid-and it worked!!

Re: Cherry eye?
My previous dog had cherry eyes and he needed to have an operation to have them replaced to where they are supposed to be when he was about 8 months old. I am glad your dog's went back with some manual manipulation, but there is a good possibility that is a temporary fix although I hope it isn't!
