Check this out...craziness in clothing sizes
"vanity sizing"??
by the old standard, I fluctuate between a 14 and an 18...
not the 6 and 10 I thought I did.
I think it's crazy that these numbers matter so much to us.

I like to stick to stores that are more True in their sizes. Like Ann Taylor. I find that different stores have such different size scales. For example in Old Navy I can rarely get into their size 6 jeans, but Ann Taylor fits great. I tend to go by what FITS my body vs. the size.

I agree! I am not going to squeeze myself into a 4 just to say I am wearing a size 4. I'm going to wear what looks best. I can always cut out the tag!!

Me too! I cannot fit into an Old Navy 6 sometimes even an 8 and Ann Taylor I can. I just bought a pair of Tommy Hilfiger jeans on Sunday that were a 4. I NEVER try to squeeze into anything. I always buy what fits me, no matter what size it is!

WORD! When I was fitted for my friends wedding, my BM dress was a size 14! Some girls were like OMG I was like, oh get over it. Then I overheard some lady begging the sales lady to order her a size 14 dress and that she'd lose weight. SO HA!
