What a makeover!  And she wants to gut it in the future. Go figure! I think it's a great remodel and just proves what some paint and a couple of small things can do for a room to give it a new life. (I know this isn't everyone's taste).

I'm sure the black floor isn't easy to keep clean, but it looks pretty.

That is great for a inexpensive temporary fix heck that's great if that was permanent.
What is with the chair in there though? If the kids are bad do they have to sit in the bathroom?

I agree, I think it would be great for a permanent fix as well.
I'm not sure about the chair either, but I love the pop of the yellow. I believe she is from Australia, but not sure. Maybe it's a thing they do over there.

It's not exactly my taste but it's really striking. I really liked the original shower curtain too.

I'd love to have a chair in the bathroom - you can sit to put lotion on your legs, set a towel or change of clothes while you are in the shower or changing.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE black white and yellow. My aunts kitchen used to be these colors, i loved it.
i think it's beautiful..
however, i am not sure i would have put the "shabby chic" mirror in there though. it's cute, but doesn't fit the decor. IMO anyway...
