If we redo the bathroom
for $500, (I know not much) but it will look really nice, how much more can we expect to get towards it being an upgrade? I'm just trying to figure out the cost of upgrades compared to what you can actually get for them. Thanks!

Re: If we redo the bathroom
What kind of improvements are you thinking about making?
As a current house hunter, a basic update wouldnt really make me think the house was worth more unless everything was done top of the line. If its a nice, well done update I think of it as one less thing we'll have to do. I hope that makes sense!

Re: If we redo the bathroom
One thing we wanted to do was redo the hall bathroom by putting in a new real tile floor, new faucets and countertop, new cabinets, mirrors and paint. There's nothing wrong with the tub/tiling or toilet. It's a fairly small bathroom so I don't it would be much.

Sounds like you have nice improvements in mind. Maybe Alnem can help you since she is a REA expert and give youa good idea of how the improvments would benefit you.
