Cheap Eats in Magic Kingdom

Wondering where we should eat in Magic Kingdom, was going to do Crystal Palace but it seemed expensive for what it was. Looking for less expensive options.

There are plenty of quick service places in MK to eat. Pecos Bills, Cosmic Rays, etc.

Sit downs (like Crystal Palace) are all probably going to run you the same amount of money. We are not huge fans of Crystal Palace but do enjoy the Liberty Tree Tavern.

A sit down that is not a character meal will be cheaper. Tony's Town Square, The Plaza are two that come to mind. Counter service is always a cheaper option. We like Pecos Bill, Cosmic Rays, and Pinnochio Village Haus for meals.

Table service? Counter service is the cheapest. I can make some recommendations for CS but it seems like you want table service.

The cheapest is Plaza Restaurant. Which is pretty much burgers and sandwiches.

Dinners you will find Tony's, Be Our Guest about the same. Entrees run $19-35.

Liberty tree is closing from July - nov. But lunch (a la carte) runs $15-25 and dinners are about $33 so only a few dollars difference from crystal palace.

Places like Tony's or BOG might run you more if you get drinks, apps or dessert, and will depend on the entree you order.

A good deal is BOG for lunch. Slightly better CS food, but you order, sit and it is brought to your table on rolling carts.

Non table service. If you want ribs or rotisserie chicken as a change from the normal CS you could try Cosmic Rays.

We like to eat at Columbia Harbor House for lunch. It is quick serve, has good clam chowder and a decent lobster roll. I also like sleepy hallow for breakfast sandwiches. We always get the kids pineapple dole whip at aloha isle and pretzels by Dumbo.

I second Columbia Harbour House. Excellent food for the price, plus some different options from the usual.

Re: Cheap Eats in Magic Kingdom

We plan on doing BOG for lunch our first day, and the plaza restaurant for dinner our second day in MK. We are fine having sandwiches/burgers for dinner.

I agree with this rec unless you have someone in your party with a fish or shellfish allergy.
