charting and finding out O day w/ hcg trigger

i was wondering how do you chart when you take the hcg trigger, and determine when you O'd? fertility friend is telling me to 'override' the ovulation detector but since i'm not exactly sure when I O'd (my temps have been steadily rising the past three days) i'm not quite sure where I should mark it as O day... I had the hcg shot on Thursday, my temp that morning was 97.3, friday it was 97.5, saturday 97.6, and today 98.1 (although I took my temp an hour and a half later)... thoughts? TIA!

if you do a trigger shot you dont need to temp. a trigger shot will guarantee ovulation within 36 hours of the shot. so if u want to temp with it just dont pay too much attention to the exact O day on your charting software and count your days as 36 hours after trigger.
