Changing insurance
I am so upset. So our annual renewal deadline to either keep or change our insurance has expired and I didnt even realize it. I wanted to change our insurance this year because its too expensive but I cant now (according to the paperwork I receive) since the deadline expired. Do any of you know if its still possible to call them up and have them change it? On the website it says you can only change coverage (past the deadline) if there is a life even that has changed ex: having a baby, divorce, death etc. Is there anything I can do?

A lot of times they talk about the "qualifying life event," and how you have to meet certain requirements. However, I have successfully managed to change it without meeting their "events". I would just call and explain whatever you have to do.

Thank you so much. I am so upset with myself for not realizing the deadline was last month! Ugh, hopefully they will allow me to change it if I explain I cannot afford the plan. We'll see. thanks again
