cesspool people
so my dad is old school with things like "don't laugh to hard you're belly will hurt" or putting your parking brake on even when you're not on a hill and i have an automatic. stuff like that. but i wonder about what he says with my laundry days. he tells me not to do more than 2-3 loads a day because i'm not giving my cesspool time to drain. i do probably 4-5 washes on laundry day and could do more but he's always in the back of my head. i always wonder if i'm doing damage to my cesspool. anyone know anything about them? i'm clueless

Re: cesspool people
That is a GREAT question. My mom JUST told me yesterday I can't use a lot of laundry detergent and can't do alot of loads. Me being clueless myself would love to know.

Re: cesspool people
More importantly, you should find out if you have a seperate cesspool for the washer. I know we do, which means you can pretty much do as many loads as you would like.

Re: cesspool people
More than likely, of you have pools in different locations (i.e., front and back), it would seem you have separate cesspool systems for waste and laundry. Which is a good thing. I have two pools, but they are both under my front lawn and the second pool is considered an overflow pool. The overflow pool will handle all that extra additional liquid waste.
I would think you fine if you have a separate pool for laundry. Do you have a front loader and use HE detergent? That would cut down significantly on the water and surfactants going to the pool.
