Cervical Cryotherapy

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone else had this treatment done in the past? I had it dont yesterday because of abnormal (pre-cancerous cells) found on my cervix. It was a very painful experience and Ive been in pain ever since. Everywhere I look online, most people say that it was pretty painless.. not the case for me. Just wondering if anyone would like to share their experiences with me. How long were you in pain?

I had this done over 10 yrs ago so I don't fully remember, I remember some cramping but no major pain like you are describing, I would call your dr to make sure it's ok. Feel better!

hi,

i had it done quite a long time ago as well (maybe 8 years) and i remember it hurting while they were doing it and some cramping after but nothing substantial. i definitely agree that if you are still in pain, you should give your doctor a call. hope you feel better soon!

Thanks Ladies!! I'm feeling a little better today, just tired ( I think from the stress of the whole thing). I have my follow up Friday morning so if I continue to wake up feeling better each day, then I'll just wait until then. Thanks again!!
