Centereach pool/spray park
Does anyone know how much it is to get into the centereach spray park!

I want to say $6 for adults $3 for kids? The info is in the rec. guide at the Brookhven.org site. Fair warning, we went last year, and the spray area is tiny, and their pool and bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. And you have to race for a chair, so I would bring your own if you get there a minute after opening.

I didn't know there was a silly sprinkler thing in Port Jefferson - but the area at the Centereach pool is nothing like the sprinkler parks in the Town of Babylon, or the one in Bay Shore that opened a few years ago.

You mean those turtle sprayers? It's a little more elaborate than those. A truck that sprays water, and I think a rainshower type thing? Def. doesn't compare to the ones other towns have! and last year when we went, the kiddie pool was drained, but they don't tell you that before you pay.

Yes...those turtle sprayers DS looked at me and in his 3 1/2 y/o way  at me!
Thanks for the scoop on centereach. I wont even waste my time! Oh and if anyone is interested, I wrote our Town Supervisor as to when Brookhaven was going to get on board with building a sprinkler park and this was my response:
Our Parks Department is interested in constructing a sprinkler park, and is looking into the possibility of having one constructed at a Brookhaven Town facility. Currently, this is in the discussion stage, and there as such there is no time table or location for construction.

I decided to just spend the money and get a season pass to Splish Splash. Figured it would work out cheaper in the end...we've already been there three times.
