I only watched a bit. (Whatever was on when ER was on commercial) Mary Cary is just repulsive & Jeff Conway was just sad. I'm sure they will repeat it 1,000 times.

DH was watching it. I said no at first but then caved.
It was downright sad and disgusting what they do to themselves.
Baldwin doesn't belong on, clearly looking for air time.
And I guess they could nto find anyone else b/c that American Idol girl Jessica Sierra is NOT a celebrity and doesn't belong there either.
But I probably might watch again to see how things pan out. I just can't believe what Jeff Conway has done to himself.

I could really give a crap about whether these people qualify as celebs or not...they all need help. The premise of the show is quite interesting.
I really like Dr. Drew and his approach. I'm curious to see who will be able to stick with the program and get sober and who's beyond help (although I would hope they could all be saved.)

While I agree Jessica needs help, I just find it odd that she is on a show titled "celebrity" rehab and it just strikes me as the show needed to fill a slot and shoved her in.
Even worse to me, find it sad that now her real claim to fame will be this show, when we really don't know much else about her. That is how we will really know her, as the girl from Celebrity Rehab.
But sure, of course I hope she benefits from the show.

Jeff COnway is so sad... he has literallly killed himself with drugs. my heart really went out to him.
mary carey needs more than re-hab. she also needs serious counseling to deal with her psychological issues... porn has ruined her.

Or was she ruined before the porn and that was why she went into it?
So terrible. I just was so sad the way she kept talking about sex, etc.
We really need Lindsay or Nicole Ritchie or Britney Spears on here. Well maybe in time,when they crash like Jeff Conway did, they might consider it.

How pathetic to capitalize on people's recovery...the LAST thing a recovering alcoholic / addict should be is in the spot light for everyone to see..makes it that much harder if they fail .

I find him handsome as well. 
I truly think he's sincere about getting these people better. Although he's doing a reality tv show, Dr. Drew has never really been a media whore.

Normally reality tv has a lot of gratuitous shock value in it, but I believe this program is actually trying to show the viewers the seriousness of these addictions, how they develop and how difficult they are to break.
Granted, they've only aired one episode, but I think it was really well done.
