CD6....too early to start CBE digital tests?

Ok, so apparently I have to start using the CBEFM on CD5, which is today (and I won't receive it in the mail for a few days)....so I bought some digital CBE ovulation tests, it's a box of 7 so I don't want to waste any! When should I start testing? My cycle is usually 33 days....when I conceived with the m/c pregnancy it was on CD13.....should I start testing tomorrow or is that too early?

I think starting it now would be too soon. I start using mine on CD10 and I have a 25-26 day cycles. If you dont mind using them (esp. since theyreChat Icon ) then go for it but I think you'll be fine if you waited a couple more days.

My cycle is 30-31 days and I waited until CD 11 to start testing. I think you have time

I would start on CD 10. You may need to buy another pack if you only have 7 though. On months where my cycle was 33 days I got my peak on the CBEFM on CD 20 and 21 which I believe is the equivalent to a smiley on an OPK.

wow CD 20!! yikes! Let me ask another stupid question.....if I use up my 7 smiley face tests and still no smiley, can I use the CBEFM after that just to tell me if I'm ovulating anyway? Since I heard you need to start using it on CD5 I was thinking it wouldn't work unless I started it earlier in my cycle. Unless that screws up the tracking that it does in case it thinks I'm on CD5 when I test on let's say CD16 or something? Maybe I should just buy the extra smiley tests on ebay since I did see a few auctions for $20 or so for 20 of them (which were $58 in the store! Chat Icon
