CBEFM UGH!!!!!!!!
So, I finally got the thing to give me two bars (on day 21) but today is day 24 and it's not asking for a test stick. I never even got an egg. I think the CBEFM gave up on me.

Re: CBEFM UGH!!!!!!!!
When did you start testing?
What reading does it have now?
What have been your readings?
How long have you been using the CBEFM?
Can I bombard you with more questions?

Re: CBEFM UGH!!!!!!!!
I started testing on day 5 of my cycle. I got my first two bar reading on day 21. I've been getting a two bar reading everyday since the 21st. Today is the 24th day and the CBEFM isn't asking for a stick.
This is my first month using the CBEFM.

Did you turn it on at the right time?
Usually it asks you to start on CD 6 in your first cycle - and then will ask for either 10 or 20 sticks, depending on when you ovulate.
In the first month, sometimes the CBEFM can be a little wacky! It won't always give a peak in the first month.

Re: CBEFM UGH!!!!!!!!
I don't know. I was just following the directions on the box. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I normally turn the thing on early in the morning (6-8am) and today I slept in and turned it on around 11 am?

You missed your testing window then.
The first day you turn it on in the morning of your first cycle day is the testing time "window". Say if you turn it on at 6am you could test between 4am and 8am.
If you turned it on at 11am this morning you missed the opportunity window and it wouldn't ask for a stick.

Oh well. Funny, I woke up this morning around 7 and thought about testing, but then decided to go back to bed and test when I actually "got up".

Yes, you missed your window.
You'll have another chance tomorrow.
Whatever time you set the monitor for on CD 1, you can test 3 hours before and 3 hours after that.
Try to set it for a time that works for your weekday and weekend wake up times.
For me, I used to set mine at 7 AM, that way I could test for my weekday wake up time (5:45 or 5:15) and my weekend wake up time (7am-9am).

Re: CBEFM UGH!!!!!!!!
Good to know. I normally don't sleep past 7-9 am. I don't know what got into me today. Thanks again for helping me with my CBEFM questions.
