CBE Digital OPK

Has anyone ever gotten a smudge on the CBE digital opk test strip?

On CD 19 I got a smiley on the opk but when I popped out the stick there was only one dark like and the rest was all blue smudge. I took another test 4 hours later and same thing - one line and blue smudge and smiley. I also used a internet cheapie and there was only one line. So I just assumed the line ones were wrong and BD for the next 3 days.

Well then on CD 24 I had EWCM and pain in my ovary so I decided to take another test and I got 2 dark lines on the cheapie and a smiley face on the CBE. This time on the stick there were 2 dark lines.

Has this ever happened to anyone?? I feel like the smudge caused a false positive.

Any info would be helpful!! This is the longest 2WW ever since I had to start over

I don't know about your scenairo -- but the instructions say not to go by the lines on the test -- you go by display in the readout smiley or circle. The lines don't mean anything.
