Cat Limping

Hi,
Late last night I noticed that my 13 year old cat started limping. As of this evening she's not limping nearly as bad but she's still not putting all of her weight on it. I want to have her see the vet tomorrow, but unfortunately, my vet is very limited with appointments (Catnip and Carrots).

Two questions:
Has anyone ever experienced this with their cat?
Any recommendations for an alternative vet who will see her tomorrow?

TIA

I would get her to a vet ASAP. It could be an injury or even a blood clot which is an emergency situation. Good luck and post how she is doing.

Re: Cat Limping

Where are you located?
I can get you the name of my emergency vet- which you don't need an appt for in an emergency- or my regular vet-depending on where you live.

Let me know....

Re: Cat Limping

Thank for your replies. I've not been able to log on the past few days, so I wanted to update my post. I was able to get an appointment with my regular vet and it turns out she has sprained her right front let. I've confined her to my bedroom (with a litter box and food and water) for the past few nights to be sure she's resting and not hopping and jumping around. She's made significant progress and the vet said she'll be ok in a few more days.

Thanks again.
