castoff collections
I was wondering if other people have this problem in their homes. We have this collection of castoff phones and answering machines - we both had more than one when we got married and held on to the old one. Then, we ended up getting one of those 2 lines phones that has a built in answering machine. They still work, so you feel like maybe you should hold onto them "just in case" but now, there is a box full of these things I refer to as the "phone cemetary."
Do you have an item like this in your house? Just curious.....

OMG just yesterday I discovered DH's phone cemetary.....it is scary!! Wall phones, cell phones, cordless phones,...and other paraphanelia.... I want to throw them all out!! But he says "Ya never know..."!
I think they mate and multiply while we sleep.... if only it were so easy for US to multiply...!!

Re: castoff collections
We're pretty good about tossing old phones, but I insisted on keeping one that's not cordless in case of a power outage. DH was kissing my heiney the last time we lost power when I pulled it out of the closet.
