Re: Carpet Tiles
We have them in our office. Many thousands of square feet of it. It looks pretty decent (somewhat commercial, though), wears well, and if the corners start to pull up, or it gets damaged, you just pull up that one piece and replace it.

Re: Carpet Tiles
Yes, I have them in my family room. I ordered a bunch of samples from FLOR before deciding (you can order 6 samples for $5). I would definitely recommend this. There are a lot of different styles and the thickness/softness is VERY different so you really need to feel them. Also, the color looked a lot different to me in person than in the catalog or on the website. The Martha Stewart line for FLOR is very nice.
After a lot of experimenting with the samples, I finally ordered the tiles and it came out great. I keep getting compliments on it, and once everyone hears that it is carpet tiles they are amazed (I really don't know why, you can see the gridlines so I think its obvious). We had a party and I didn't worry at all when everyone was eating wings and drinking in there knowing that I can replace just one tile if something spilled.

Re: Carpet Tiles
My parents just did this in their basement. You cant even tell they are carpet tiles. Now I wish we done the same in our basement instead of regular carpet.

Re: Carpet Tiles
You don't really "install" them. They give you these super sticky circles, they call them dots, and you stick them on the underside of the tiles to attach them to each other. Nothing sticks to the floor. The prices range depending on the style you pick. I think I paid about $15 per tile. You can go to the website - flor.com for all the info.
