Carnival cruise question
My parents are currently on a Carnival cruise out of Baltimore. The boat was extremely delayed and the whole itinerary had to be changed. Because of that they are getting refunded 50% of this cruise price and they are also getting 50% off a future carnival cruise. Not too bad! Anyway they want to bring me, my now 4.5 DS, and hopefully DH (if it works with his work schedule) with them on this future cruise. We would probably leave out of Baltimore again, as that is where they live. I work so I don't want to take super long cruise. Does anyone have a particular carnival cruise boat or route they recommend? I know some people don't like carnival, but that is non-negotiable as that is what the deal is lol. Not looking for luxury, just looking for R and R and lots of fun for a kindergarten aged boy.

Re: Carnival cruise question
We had a great time on Carnival. We went from NYC and from Miami.
The food is great & if I were to go again, I would do the Disney/ private island itinerary again. We had a great time with a very young kid.

Re: Carnival cruise question
I've been on Carnival twice, it was nothing fancy but it was fine for us... if you look at the newer ships they will probably be nicer.
ETA both times we left from Miami and did cruises to the Western Caribbean since they were a bit shorter.

Carnival cruise question
We left out of Baltimore and went on the carnival pride. I think it has recently been Reno acted. It was my favorite. Perfect size and tons of fun.

Carnival cruise question
We are big carnival cruisers. We have been on many and never once had a bad trip. Check out Cruise Critic for specifics on each ship. Certain boats sail out of certain ports. If you are looking at any specific ones PM me I am sure I can give you info on many of the ships & ports
PS- my favorite ports are Grand Turk, Cozumel, and Roatan.

Re: Carnival cruise question
If willing to fly I would look into one of the newer ships.
