Caribbean/Tropical restaurant recommendations
I'm looking for a nice Caribbean/Tropical restaurant to host an anniversary party in the summer. I've tried searching google but only found 2. So I'm looking for more options. Any recommendations? Anywhere in Suffolk / western Nassau is fine. TIA!

Tiki Bar or Dublin Deck in Patchogue - are those the kind of places you're looking for?

Gallo or Rhum in Patchogue. Off Key Tiki doesn't have great food but the ambiance is nice.

Thanks! I've been to Dublin Deck, I'm just afraid that if the weather is bad, it will ruin the party. I'll check out the Tiki Bar and see what kind of indoor area they have

Thanks! Rhum was one of the ones I came across and it's exactly the type of place I'm looking for but the party room only fits 25-30 ppl and I need something that fits around 50 ppl. I was hoping maybe there is somewhere like it but with a bigger party room.

Rumba in Hampton Bays
I haven't been there yet. But friends have gone a few times and raved about it. It's on my list for the summer!

I'm 99% sure this is the same owners as Rhum so maybe this place can accommodate your crowd.
Are you looking for caribbean food or decor?

Re: Caribbean/Tropical restaurant recommendations
Thank everyone! Def looking for tropical decor. Caribbean food would be a big plus but not 100% necessary. I was thinking about Rumba but I'm wondering if it would be too far of a drive for a lot of the family that lives in Northport and even further west. The problem is that our family is literally all over the island so no matter where we pick, there will be people traveling over an hour each way. I'm hoping that I find somewhere that the couple will love so much that no one complain about the drive lol.

Cafe Havana in Smithtown
Rhum and Rumba are one in the same but Rumba is a trillion times smaller than Rhum so you would need to rent the whole place out and if it's in their booming summer months I believe they do not offer that.
