I had them and had a D & C to remove it. I only had to put TTC on hold for a few weeks. recovery after was nothing much and jsut had to hold off until my followup appt.
When i discussed it with my Dr she strongly advised to get them removed before continuing the journey.
@alli do you think it was the fibroids and polyp that was making you take so long to get a bfp? how long after the d&c did you get a BFP?

No it def wasn't them cause it was another year and a half til I got my BFP. But at least I have a nice clean uterus for the baby....minus the new fibroid that popped up between the D & C and the BFP. Removing them cured my mid cycle bleeding though.
i went to an RE who based on ultrasound thought I had a polyp. i was supposed to follow up with the water sono next af but that never happened because i became pregnant with ds. He said it probably would just come out during labor, i'll never know.
because of the polyp?
