MIL has a Rogue which I have driven and I hate it. The blind spots are pretty bad for backing up. The Murano might be better if you can afford that one. She doesn't like the car too much either.

my DH just got the CRV and loves it although i agree with another poster that sometimes the seats can be uncomfortable

We are in the same ballpark for crossovers..
We've looked at ALL Of them and are close to getting the Mazda CX9. It was the best bang for the buck out there.
I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the GMC Terrain but the lease incentives on American cars are just non existent.
Also like the Tuscon and the Kia Sorrento
