Car seat-tightness

We have a snugride and the belt which attaches to the LATCH seems to loosen when vigorously moved side to side..... is this normal?

Re: Car seat-tightness

It should move side to side no more than about 1 inch i was told/read.

Did you have it inspected?

I have a snugride and used latch, never had an issue with it.

Re: Car seat-tightness

We have a snugride too & got it inspected....what we did wrong is use the latch system for the center seat (where we had it fastened)...for our car anyway (2003 Jetta) she said the latch wasn't made for the middle seats, just the sides. We had to reattach just using the seatbelts.

The top part (where baby's head will be) was able to move if you touched it, but the bottom should be super secure. She sat on top of ours to secure it.
