Car seat smarties...please help with 3 accross
Specifically in the 2015 Ford Explorer with a bench middle row
I need to fit 2 high back boosters and a convertible
Where's the best resource for this answer and what type of seats I will need to purchase

I have a gmc envoy and fit 2 convertables and an infant seat. I got 2 diono radian rxt which seem to be the slimmest and best to fit 3 across. I'm using as convertables FF but they are also high back boosters so they may work. I haven't tried a 3rd as RF convertable which we will need when baby outgrows the infant but it should fit bc they are slimmer than the infant sear.

You say bench middle row but is there a 3rd row too? That would give more options.

Yes will have a 3rd which I will use most of the time but want the option for all 3 in one row for times j need more cargo space.
On a side note how do you like the Acadia ? I have had a few people tell me that they have had some issues . Specifically with the transmission and blind spots

My mother in law has this and fits her two graco nautilus seats on the outside and a graco my ride rear facing in the middle row. My kids are more comfortable through with one in the back.

great thanks! I wonder how it would be with the myride foward facing. Most of the time I would put one in the back but want this option for times I need to put more stuff in the back.

I have the envoy which is discontinued. I wanted the Acadia but we didn't have kids at the time. I'm kicking myself now that we don't have that 3rd row option. I know it's less cargo space though and I'd probably just be able to fit a double stroller in and nothing else.

I have an explorer - I have a britax boulevard, and two recaro all on the bench - the recaro's can be used as boosters too
I have my large almost 6 year old still in a car seat because it is hard to get to the seat belt mechanisms

Strawberry- the Explorer, Envoy and my Trailblazer are about the same dimensions across. It would be like the envoy EXT with a 3rd row.
I also have 2 Radian RXT next to a graco Snugride 35 for DS. He's outgrowing it. I am getting another radian because a Suburban just ain't in the cards right now
