Car seat placement
So I just got a convertible car seat for dd. does it go on the backseat passenger side where her infant base is? Or does it go in the middle?
Car seat is a britax and car is a jeep grand Cherokee if that helps.

Car seat placement
Any car seat can go in any back seat position. The middle position of the back seat is technically safest in a car seat (if you get hit on either side, there is space if the car crumples in before the car seat is impacted). That being said, as long as your car seat is properly installed, and your DC is properly harnessed every time, you are fine in any of the 3 backseat locations.

Is this also true for an infant seat? I have her behind the passenger seat bc for some reason I thought she had to be there. And it never really made sense why she wasn't in the middle.

My infant seat is in middle because i heard it was safest and it made sense to me. Comvertible seat will go there as well
