Car seat experts I have a question
I just installed a Britax Marathon Classic in my car rear facing. I used this seat with DS1, but in a different car. It has one recline position and no indicator for when you've got the angle right.
So my question is it says to have it between 30 and 45 degrees reclined. How can I check this? And how big a deal is it if it's not reclined enough? And how can I fix the recline if necessary?
Thanks!

Look on the sides of the seat. There is either a sticertified with a line or it is imprinted in the plastic. That line needs to be level with the ground

It is a big deal for a few reasons. The 30-45 degree angle puts the least amount of pressure on their hips, spine and neck in the event of an accident no matter how minor. Also it is best for their airways.
