Thank you. I was wondering if they last more then 10,000 miles. We do mostly highway driving in PA.

yes, on avg more then 10,000 miles but as the above poster said, its type of vechicle..driving habits that make a significant difference...
when the brakes are done, you will hear a metal sensor go off when you brake. Depending on your type of tire/rim, you can see the brake pad.
