Really?!?! It was not like that when I was there. The past brides were there to help the BRB and if you didn't want to talk about wedding stuff you went to the NWR board.
I didn't know it had become so cut throat.
I don't know if I'd call it cut throat...it's just typical cattiness. Whatcha expect with a female-dominated chat site regarding weddings? Insanity!!

i KNOW! sometimes i just wanted to shout, "get a grip on your life!" it is a 6 hour event of ONE day in your whole LIFE. people were nuts... flowers and invitations should not be giving people anxiety attacks.

Oh, the rivalries of 'yore!
I have two theories as to the running back to LIW...
a) to create more drama
or
b) their heads are so far up their butts to realize that LIW isn't protected from the likes of us tainted married folk. We can go over there to see what you're saying if we're so inclined!
Going over to LIW to complain is going to lead to more drama 99.9% of the time.

I just find it funny how the same people keep saying LIF is so mean.... yet they keep coming back.
Either come here and deal with the fact that their are 10X the number of people than on the NW board, with 10X the opinions, or just stay away  Stop with the wishy-washy.....

Personally, I prefer LIF to LIW. LIW served its purpose for me--planning my wedding, and quite honestly, I had a non-traditional wedding, so I never really felt as if I "fit in" over there anyway. Now the Newlywed board has become something that I don't really want to be a part of.
LIF has so much more going on. I love all of the different boards. I have gotten so much valuable advice from people I've "met" on this site. Way more than LIW. And BOYS--REAL LIVE BOYS--(though just a few...)contributing to the discussions.
Anyway, someone who posts on LIW that someone on LIF was "mean" to her or whatever is probably just trying to stir up something, it's kind of obvious.

I think the people on this board are a lot more open and honest than LIW.
I agree...everything is sugar coated over there for both the users and vendors. LIF is a more honest community. It's like if you don't want to hear what we think then don't ask!
