I HOPE they restore it too, I hate seeing old homes like this get knocked down.
I went to the estate sale there. It was my first estate sale so I didn't know what to expect and when I saw the master bedroom with their belongings and bed made I cried feeling guilty going through the home that once belonged to a family... I'm such a dork lol.
Anyway the home was wonderful, I love old homes I hope they restore it but something tells me they won't

The for sale sign has a sign on it that says sold
The house has been on the market since the tag sale - Probably 2 or 3 years now
I went to the tag sale too. The house needs A LOT of work if they are going to make it liveable. It will probably be knocked down though.

i live around the block from there too! i thought it looked like a great house - just needs A LOT of work. i dont like the location either being on that main road. but it'll be great to see what they do with that house.

It was originally listed for over a million dollars. I thought I read somewhere that it was a legal 4 family home.

from what i saw its a 2 family - Yeah it was 1 million then went down to 650k

I went to the estate sale there. It was my first estate sale so I didn't know what to expect and when I saw the master bedroom with their belongings and bed made I cried feeling guilty going through the home that once belonged to a family... I'm such a dork lol.
Anyway the home was wonderful, I love old homes I hope they restore it but something tells me they won't
Elizabeth, ITA!!!! I feel old houses, and especially historic houses should be preserved, and I applaud people who do it. Over the weekend, here in Lancaster Co. an historical house was demolished, even after folks tried to save it!!! And what is going into that space? Another financial institution !! Don't we already have enough of those? Mary

My aunt lives over in the D section and I grew up nearby too. I love that house. It will make me very sad if they knock it down!

Awwww....... It's such a shame!! In my hometown, there's a couple who restored a beautiful Victorian, that was built by Great Grandparents. Mary
