Peony... but watch out. Ants LOVE them. If you bring them into your home, you will have little ants running around
too bad they don't last longer than they do.

hydrangea!! they are sooo gorgeous.
plus you can change their colors by putting coffee grounds around the base of the plant - the change in acidity makes them blue/purple.

Bj's has 10" Hydrangea in a pot for $19.99. I am not sure if its a good deal or not, but they were really nice.
Do Hydrangea like full sun, or part sun?

Re: Can you tell me your favorite
hydrangea (blooms in summer), purple coneflowers (summer), creeping phlox (sping-summer), peonies (bloom late spring-early summer, you need to stake these since they get top heavy and fall over, gorgeous flowers though), sedum (mid-late summer), and lillys (summer). Best time to plant is now. I'm addicted to perennials and gardening

The two I have are in part shade/part sun and they do great. They love to be watered though, so watch out. They drupe (sp) down if they don't get enough water. I had one in basically full sun and I just couldn't water it enough, I moved it where one of the other ones is and it is doing fine now. So I would say part shade/sun.
