Didn't anyone bother checking for a pulse? I'm not around corpses too often, but shouldn't it be pretty easy for medical professionals to be able to tell if someone is alive?

I remember learning in a Victorian Lit class that back then people were so afraid of being buried alive accidentally, they would rig their coffins with bells and buzzers and stuff just in case. Sooooo creepy.

I AM around corpses often   ......and I am pretty sure I would know if someone were dead or alive..........The bleeding incision is what tipped them off !!

This was part of my favorite class in college!! I loved learning about all that stuff!
