I mean right after delivery??

no I am not pregnant my SIL is and she is having a vaginal delivery but wants her tubes tied since this is her fifth child and she is 39

I plan it after my 2nd and last c-section next year. My Doctor just said that he can't do it in a Catholic Hospital.

This is why sometimes I wish I had a C-section, so they could have tied my tubes
I didn't have a c-section...but after I gave birth, they had to cut me open to tie my tube! (I only have one  )

My mother did after she had my brother - her 4th child in under 5 years.....
They didn't want to do it because she was only 28, but she told them to do it or else!

This is why DH and I have a deal. If we have another and it's a section, I tie my tubes. If it's vaginal delivery, he gets snipped!

you know they asked me if I wanted my tubes tied IMMEDIATELY after delivering Isabella. I thought it was wierd and inappropriate. I mean what if I had been all loopy and in a lot of pain and said yes. I think this should be talked about with your OB at sometime during your pregnancy.

I had my tubes cut moments after Marianna was born...it was planned and discussed in detail with my doctor and DH before we made a final decision.

Speak to your doctor.
There is a new in-office procedure I read about that does not involve surgery but makes sperm unable to go thru your tubes. OR have your husband go thru his procedure. You are going thru enough giving birth.

One of my best friends did. She had a c-section. I'm not sure if it makes a difference which way you deliver.

I did right after my c-section. It was planned. I heven had to sign a consent at the hospital before they did it

If I had it my way, I'd have a c-scetion with this one, get my tubes tied and have a plastic surgeon there to cut away some excess skin to get my tummy back

My mom had a vaginal and her tubes tied after he fourth, so YES, it is possible.
