Is there something that you can leave laying around to help him remember? I know it shouldn't have to be that way but you know men!
Why do you think he doesn't remember? I know My Dh never talks about any upcoming events until the day before or the day of.....some guys are just like that.

i usually start talking about my birthday wish list weeks in advance. maybe you could casually bring it up, like you were thinking you might like to do X for your birthday this year?

i'm usually just very blunt, like what did you plan for my birthday! much better than being disappointed. i also already told him to start planning my graduation party next may!  yes, he SHOULD remember, but giving him hints will save you from more disappointment!

they expect me to WORK while i'm in this stupid office, so i hadn't checked in for a bit today...
thanks for the replies.
i'm ALWAYS reminding him!
what are you getting me for our anniversary?
what are you getting me for mother's day?
what are you getting me for christmas?
the list goes on and on...
i didn't get my christmas present until february
i still haven't received my mother's day gift
i guess i'm just fed up and tired of having to beg for recognition on these days.
i NEVER forget anything special for him!
i think i'm going to stop feeling sorry for myself and i'm going to do something special for my d a m n self!!
i just needed to get that off my chest.
