can we have aspartame?
I just cannot give up the diet soda....I NEED it once a day. What is the rule with aspartame? Everything I have read on line says it's considered safe...what does everyone's drs. say?

Mine did too but I have it once in a while. Like if Im at a party or a BBQ and I get sick of water, Ill have a diet soda. I just cant bring myself to drink a can of regular with 150 calories in it.

My doc said 2 Diet soda's a day. Once in a while it's a little more. I get soooo thirsty sometimes and the water just doesn't cut it!

what to expect when you're expecting says it's not safe. the book says splenda is ok though.
i'm staying away from all diet sodas.

my doc said not to have any so I'm trying to avoid. . but I agree w/ the pp who said it's basically an acceptable poison. . though I used to be a huge diet soda drinker and still drink one every few weeks. . I do really think all the artificial sweeteners are bad for us in general. . .

I avoided it, but maybe try drinking Pepsi One... it's One calorie, no carbs, but tastes just like Diet (at least it does to me).
