Can we discuss 3mo old schedule ? Have some questions .
DS turned 3 months a week ago. He doesn't have a consistent schedule yet, every day is different he wakes up, BF , takes a long morning nap and then he is awake most of the day, just cat napping throughout the day, BF every 3hrs or so , sometimes takes a longer nap around dinner time. He is so much more alert now, wants to play, interact more, I feel like he gets bored sitting in his bouncer or RNP and I feel bad. Obviously we play with him and talk to him as much as possible, we do tummy time and so on, but I still feel like he is bored. I don't remember how I used to spend my days with DD ,lol. So what do you do with your 3mo, almost 4 mo old ? And is he/she on a consistent, regular schedule now or does it vary day to day? Oh and he refuses to go down for a the night until around 11 , but he does sleep TTN and wakes up around 8 unless I wake him up earlier. What time does your little one go to sleep at night?

thatss great that your LO is STTN! My girls are 3 months. They are up for the day at 6 or 7 am and they go to bed at night at aout 6 or 7 pm.. they wake once during the night to eat.. Ive tried pushing their bedtime back.. it just never works.. They also take a morning nap-usually about an hour or 2 max after they wake up... the other naps arent really consistent just yet... cat naps-like you. As far as during the day... we're doing the same thing.. tummy time, swing, bouncy, etc. Every other day I was taking them out for walks/to my moms house.. but I just went back to work this week so ive only been taking them out on the weekend... DH an dI took them for lunch the other day-they slept right through it..I also feel bad sometimes because they will sit in the swing and just hang/play with their hands/stick out their tounges lol.. I interract with them as much as I can but there are defintely lblocks of time where they are entertaining themselves and I think thats good for them. It teaches self-soothing and independence.

My little guy has always been very alert and gets bored easily too. I found the best thing is to get out of the house. New surroundings do wonders for him. Now that it's getting pretty cold out, maybe you can just take him to run errands or to the mall to walk around? DS even loved sitting in the mall play area to watch the big kids run around.

DD is 2.5 mos and up at 6-7am for first feed and then right back down till 9:30/10. After 1.5-2 hrs of eat and play she gets swaddled and naps 2-3 hours in crib. This nap usually starts at 12-1. I had to work at this and keep trying her in the crib and do some rocking but eventually she got it. I looked for her tired cues and noticed she'd be on the playmat relaxed and not kicking so I tried swaddling and rocking and put her down. She cries a bit and sometimes needs more rocking but we now do this every day. If I have to run errands then she naps in the carseat. So after that she wakes by 3pm or sometimes I have to wake her and then later on she cat naps in her swing on and off the rest of the night and goes down around 11-12. I wish I could get her down earlier but she fights it! I have on occasion gotten her down at 10pm but found she rises earlier for first feed. She cannot make it more than 6-7 hours. She has done 8 hours but not recently lol.
Ok and during the day she eats every 4 hours but in the evening it is every 3. Last feeding is at 10 or 12.
For playtime we do books, flash cards, singing and show her toys. Alot of time she hangs by herself. She gets bored on playmat after 20 min or so then I hold her a bit and she goes in the swing. I am trying to think of more things to do with her and was just googling activities lol.
