I've been having some every day....never really thought about it. But now I realize it has artifical sweetner...

I think it's fine & chew it all the time. You're not really eating it so the exposure is very minimal

My Dr. actually told me not to, like, saw me chewing it and said "is that sugar free? You can't have that!" but I chew a peice here and there. I know other girls Dr's have said that its such a minimal amount it should be OK.

I heard that its better to chew sugarless gum and consume sugarless products...I mean come on how bad can a piece of gum once a day be for you...
I'm actually getting really annoyed with all the things that they say you can and cannot have...I eat EVERYTHING in moderation...

I know. He definitely has the "you never know" mentality...like since no studies have proved this or that I may want to avoid certain things just be on the safe side. I pick and choose what I want to follow!

I asked my Dr about sugarless stuff, hot dogs, cold cuts....all the stuff we worry about. He said everything in moderation except of course alcohol, drugs and tobacco.

I've posted on this recently, and that's what my doctor said. I chew maybe a piece every day or every other day. He wasn't concerned.
