Re: Can they outgrow a milk protein sensitivity?

I would say yes. Dd was on lactose free formula and is now fine with milk.

Yes, most kids outgrow it by one.

ETA: Milk protein allergy is an allergy to the actual proteins in milk. Lactose intolerance is not being able to digest the sugar in milk. You can be lactose intolerant and still able to digest dairy, with a milk or milk protein allergy you can not digest any dairy.

Yes they can!

Even though my DD still can't have dairy products her numbers have come way down in almost 2 years.

Yeah Brianna outgrew it and it was only really bad when there was a "build up" of protein

DDs both did - they had yogurt at 6 months and were fine with all dairy since then.

at 6 months, dr told me to try dairy and protein again...josh had a reaction, so maybe at 9 months we will test him again.

Re: Can they outgrow a milk protein sensitivity?

Yes. DD was put on soy formula at about 3 months...at 7 months, she couldn't even tolerate yogurt. Now, at 1 year (since about 11 months), she loves yogurt and cheese and ice cream and no reactions! She is still on soy formula, but because I didn't want to switch to milk-based because she was already used to it..so why bother changing at this point.
