Can someone recommend a good surgeon
I think I have an umbilical hernia. I went to my reg. doctor who said he thinks its just a cyst and to leave it alone but it seems to have gotten a little bigger. I want to go for another opinion and figure a surgeon is the best one to go to.

Dr. Howard Nadjari, he's a general surgeon. He is affiliated with North Shore University Hospital and I believe two others. He was wonderful and had great bedside manner. I'll get back to you with the number, my computer is freaking out and I can't look it up.

Dr. Patane & Dr. Zingale both affiliated with Huntington Hospital. They are great.

I consulted with Dr. Greenwald in Great Neck. I liked him but for my Crohns surgery I went with Dr. Michael Harris at Mt. Sinai. He is a colorectal surgeon and general surgeon but he specializes on the gut. My regular doc recommended Dr. Greenwald since he operated on his daughter.
If it were my hernia..I would go with Dr. Harris at Mt Sinai.

Dr Sacca is the BEST. I worked with him at Sourthside Hospital and he also did several surgeries on myself and all of my family members.
