Can recessed lighting be removed?
My livingroom is very dark at night. The lamps I have in there just don't light it very well and I'm sick of living in the dark. I want to have recessed lighting installed. BUT, that room will eventually be my formal dining room (when we either expand the house or when family moves out and I get my basement back). I obviously don't want recessed lighting in a dining room so I would want it removed at that point. Could the holes then be filled in, or covered up without it being very noticeable that there was once something there?

yes, i removed the recessed lighting and put a chandelier before I moved into my home b/c we are using that room as a formal dining room!
