Can I join you?
I got 2 BFPs and have an appointment with my doc in 2 weeks!!!!!!
please give me some early pg advice.
Oh, and are you really considered pg from the date of your last period? 
That's weird......can someone explain that to me?

Yes, the counting starts from the date of your last period....why:
because your body PREPARES for implantation BEFORE conception occurs. You ovulate about 1/2 way through your cycle, then if the egg is fertilized, it implants into your prepared uterus. Your period is actually the shedding of the uterine lining if conception and implantation did NOT occur. Does that make sense?
So your fetus is actually 2 weeks behind your PG. IE: if you are 6 weeks PG, your fetus is 4 weeks old. I found the book Your Pregnancy Week by Week very informative.

They do figure from the LMP, something to do with the Lunar months...supposedly it is a more accurate DD predictor.
