can i ask a conception question

im a little confused...im hoping that you ladies can help me.

my lmp was on 12/24/11 and I had a 29day cycle. i was using OPK's and got my on 1/5/11. DH & I on 1/5 & 1/6. I got my BFP on 1/18/11- at the time when i got my bfp I didnt even miss AF yet. I had IB on the the 17th and a little on the 18th which prompted me to POAS. so my question is which day did I conceive on? i plugged in my info on pregnology.com and it said that 1/8/12 was my conception day...is this true? thanks in advance for answering this for me...

Conception is very hard to pinpoint. The sperm can live 5 days and the egg 24 hours. So it' simpossible to really know exactly when they "met". If I had to guess I would say you conceived on 1/6 the day you probably O'd.

those dates are based on LMP using a 28 day cycle... unless you Ovulate on CD14 its unlikly that its totally accurate... you more than likely Ovulated on the 6th based on the OPK...

I would go with this also. You can find a due date calculator that is based on your O date instead of LMP and it will probably be more accurate.

1/6 was day 14 of your cycle anyway so your due date based on 'conception' (which u can really only pinpoint by possible O date) and LMP would be the same anyway

Thx for ur replies...I was using mymonthlycycles.com to log everything. Mac told that I had a 29 day cycle. I had a sono yesterday and my edd is 9/29/12.
