Can Anyone Suggest a Unique/ Different Type Birthday Party For a 3-Year Old in Suffolk County?
I am not so into the typical bouncy or gym parties. I'm trying to avoid them if I can. I'm in Medford, in Suffolk County and since I will be inviting children from Chloe's Daycare I kind of feel like I should keep the location in Suffolk, no? Anyway, are there any fun drss-up, cooking or art type places out this way? Everything GOOD is in Nassau it seems.

PS. I love White Post Farms but we've been to so many parties there!! Also, I was going to do a Music Together party but the location I was going to have it didn't work out and I don't have the space in my apartment:(

A bakery near my mom has birthday parties there. The kids get to make cookies and they go in the back and see how they are made. They have pizza and then they get to take home the cookies they made. I thought it was a really cute/different idea.
Maybe a bakery near you will do that.

We went to a party at what's cooking? And amelia had a great time. They made their own pizza, made cookies. When pizza was baked,they ate then decorated the cookies. Played some games too. It was different, and a good time.

As for Darling and Diva's, I am now thinking that for a 3 year old this type of party may be too old, no? I am thinking more for 4 and up? Tell me if I'm wrong:)
Also, isn't Adventureland too old for a 3-year old? If not, how is the party run?

She lives in St. James. It was Garguilo's Bakery on Lake Ave by the train station.

I believe it's Garguilos that doesn't allow more than like 2 adults in, so that might not work depending on the ages of the kids.
California Pizza Kitchen does a party. It's like $10 a kid and seems cute.
Also Baker's Workshop at the SCCC Culinary School does a party. It's $25 a child. Which sounds like a lot, but when you figure most of these places that charge $300 for 10 or 12 kids, it's really not.
Not a fan of Ice Cream Party Shoppe....kind of dirty in there IMO

Yea it's a small bakery so I'm not sure about the adult situation. I don't recall how many adults were there the day I saw a party going on.

I had DD's 3rd b-day party there. LOVED it!!
The kids all had a great time and the parents were able to sit, relax and enjoy each others company! They do a fantastic job and it's well organized! You will not be disappointed!
ETA: Ice Cream Shoppe in Smithtown is not dirty. After each party they wipe the entire place down. I know. I went early without notice and they were mopping/wiping down everything with lysol.

Maybe it has gotten better then! When we went the hula hoops were all fillthy and bent, the room was dark and dingy that they danced in, and the sprinkle shakers in the ice cream room were very gross.

the hula hoops were a bit bent, I didn't look at them about being dirty though. They only use them until the rest of the kids get there though...I don't think there are any other props.
We unscrewed the shaker for DS to get more sprinkles out ( ) and it looked perfectly clean.
they start out with games and dancing...pizza...more games and dancing and then they get ice cream at the counter. As a favor they can pick candies from a wall of different containers.

Had my DS' 4th Bday at the Ice Cream Party Shoppe and it was GREAT!
Kids had a great time, my DS loved it and the staff was great! (I also found it very clean).
