Can anyone recommend an audiologist in Queens or Nassau plus another question about hearing tests...
Last year at his 3 year check-up, my son "failed" the hearing test on his right ear. The doctor didn't think too much of it and told me to have him retested the next time I was in the office for one of my girls. Well, frankly, I forgot all about it.  So Friday at his 4 year check-up, he "failed" again...same ear. No wax build-up, etc. This is the test where they insert the little earbud thing and press some buttons on a machine.
Anyway, so now he wants me to see an audiologist, hence the request for a recommendation. Has this happened to anyone else's DC? What was the outcome?

I have twin 3yr old boys. I just took one of my boys last week. He had 25% hearing loss in one ear due to fluid. We have to be retested in 6 weeks. We went to wooodbury.

We saw dr Mendelsohn. There are audiologist a in the practice as well.

I have hearing aids and my best experience has always been at LIJ hearing and speech in new hyde park. I traveled from Riverhead to them.
