Can anyone help...

I just had my 2nd D&C yesterday. I scheduled an appt. with
Dr. K. for next week. My regular OB suggested I get the recurrent miscarriage panel of tests done. We have been seeing the RE due to male factor and we have been doing IUI's.

Is anyone familiar with these tests? Also, does anyone have any advice on anything else I should be looking for or asking? All of my research, to this point, has been MF related. I feel lost, once again, jut when we thought we had it all figured out...

Sorry so long, thanks for any help you can offer....

I am very familiar. There are a number of reasons for miscarriage. Lots of women have two miscarriages and go on to have healthy babies. It can't hurt to have the tests. These tests are mostly testing you for certain antibodies and clotting disorders. I would also look at your husbands sperm--what are his issues? morphology? Morphology issues can also cause miscarriage. Have you had your progesterone checked after o(7 days after) First step is to get this panel. If anything comes back strange(get a copy of your results-don't just let them tell you everythings "fine)) then I can help you further

I just went through testing for recurrent miscarriage through LI IVF after 2 chemical pregnancies. The testing consisted of blood tests for genetic factors and antibodies. I was also referred to a hematologist for clotting studies. Finally, I was recommended to receive an endometrial biopsy. It took approximately 1 month to get all lab results.

Thanks for the help everyone! I will be sure to get copies of all my tests to share with those of you that are more knowledgeable than I am. Hopefully, we can figure this out and move on from here.

Thanks again!
