I'm soo lost with the idea of the Cervical Position and Opening and whatnot... does anyone has any "pointers" as to what this should feel like??

Re: Can anyone give some headers on the CP?
this is explained fully in Taking charge of your fertility. im reading this book now. highly recommend it (even though a lot of it is based on charting/temping which I dont do) but its still good info.

Re: Can anyone give some headers on the CP?
it's actually really easy to do.
if you don't mind the TMI i'll explain it.
you reach in like you were going to put in a tampon. you can tell VERY easily where your cervix is if it is low and closed, like it should be before and after O. it feels very smooth and firm.
if you are about to O, it will be MUCH higher - so much so that it is often very difficult to reach. it will also feel softer, kind of like your lips (on your face!).
i could easily tell when i was about to O, and when i had O'd, because the change happens very quickly. for example, i got a positive OPK on CD12. cervix high and soft. i KNEW i had O'd on CD 13 because by the morning of CD14, my cervix was already low and firm again.
HTH!
