Can a Dr tell if you are ovulating?
I've read so much that the only way to tell if you are ovulating is to temp.
Been ttc for a few months and second month using the CBEFM which I really like.
If we don't get a BFP soon, I will go see the GYN. My question is, is there a blood test or something that the dr does to tell if you are ovulating?

yes, they would have to do a progesterone test, lots of times its done around CD21... anything over a 5 indicates ovulation

Agree with PP, but wanted to add. Anything about a 5 indicates some form of ovulation, but drs want to see it above a 10 on an unmedicated cycle.

Just went to the gyno last night she said if i want to confirm ovulation 100% i can go for a blood test. She advisd me to go CD3 and i think CD23.

Exactly!
CD 3 is FSH testing - to see if you have eggs.
CD 21/22/23 - post ovulation - is progesterone levels. This the one that tells you if you've Oed.

I had 5.5 last month. Anything between a 5 and 10 indicates some form of ovulation, but they really want it over a 10.
Are you at an 8 medicated or unmedicated?
